I'm lucky to have my friend Steve Conte keep me in the loop of his musical doings; he's been with the re-formed New York Dolls for a few years now and they have released a new recording. It's the first in 32 years for the band. The song "Dance Like A Monkey" is catchy and smart; here's an animated video for the song that I heard about on Boing Boing (through Lukira...)

Call your local provider... The Peterson Strobo Flip is pretty cool... 34 tempered tunings pre-programmed including dobro with flattened thirds and other cool things... it won't exactly fit in your pocket, but could be a good tool for fly dates and with it's included mic stand mount, great for the visually impaired guitarist! Thanks to Jerry D. for the first look at the latest virtual strobe...
