from Crooks and Liars and You Tube:

After seeing ZPZ the other night, I have been reminded of how influential Zappa was on me  and that no matter the band, it was always top notch. Crooks and Liars is a great site for news and comedy clips but on the weekends, they've been pulling out some amazing music clips. The first from 1981, is a tip from C&L,

 a performance of Alien Orifice...

and I went on to find an amazing early Mothers performance probably from '68...

and a George Duke/ Chester Thompson/ Ruth Underwood era performance of "Inca Roads" with a little Bickford Animation included...

all truly amazing...

here the original post that started it all...

C&L's Late Night Music Club with Frank Zappa.
