The repost seems to work in Itunes...I wonder if it's a corruption that occurred in the initial bad uploads or it's something that Itunes is seeing it doesn't like... if there are still problems, leave a comment here or shoot me an e-mail... sorry it doesn't sould as good as the last version....

... of difficulties with the download of #31. I re-posted it to my server 3 times and have downloaded it directly from the site, streamed it, downloaded it with Ipodder Lemon but am having problems myself with itunes.

What's the difference?

Well, I used a slightly better sample rate than usual as there was 3 songs and it did help with the "crunchiness" in the sound. The file siz is just over 30 megs and I'm thinking that those two things might be giving itunes fits (though it's not like the program or Apple funnel anything through them...)

I think I'm going to fully repost an episode #31a in a lesser resolution, smaller file and see if that does anything. Has anyone else out in podcasting land experienced this? I write my tags in itunes and Radio Userland generates my RSS feed automatically...

I'll post here with the new feed tonight.

It seems somewhat appropriate that this run was ended in Vegas, where the summer run began with a show with the Chili Peppers and produced one of my more venomous podcasts. This time we were sharing time and space with Phil Lesh and Friends at the Hard Rock Hotel; they loaded in, soundchecked, loaded out, we loaded in, soundchecked, did a show, loaded out they loaded in and are probably still doing a show. This is the weekend of the Vegoose shows, so the town was filled with so many generations of hippys, Eric Cartman would have had a seizure.
The band wrapped their North American shows for 2005 at the Joint and it's been a really good run. We're going to do a taping for Sessions at AOL on Tuesday and then we all go home for a 5 week break. We're all due; we're tired. More after sleep, some random truck re-packing and other surprise stuff...
