I've got my parka.., 48 degrees is perfect for rock. Yeah, it's last
minute but it's so cool! I've got my drum key and about 17" of black
gaff... yup, I'm that good. Well, I had to leave the house, Angela, the
cats, the fish, the bathroom project two days early but at least I
won't have a chance to be there for eight weeks. TV is cool.
I have a few travel days coming up, so I'll be able
to catch up, post those Euro photos, hammer on everybody about helping
the folks who survived Katrina and perhaps publish a podcast I've had
in my head for a few days.
To Angela, I'm sorry I had to leave so soon. The job
can be unpredictable (predictably). I hate leaving so many things
undone.
To the boys, be good, stay off the counter and try not to knock over my brother's vase.
To the crew that couldn't make it to NYC, don't worry, you'll find something to do.
To the people out there concidering a career in
artist management, go for it. If there are record companies, radio,
touring or live performances in five years, there will be plenty to do.
You can do it! I'll be here waiting for you!
To the people of Louisana and Mississippi, whether
you're in your states or have been evacuated, my thoughts are with you
right now. You know what is important. you know what we can live
without. You know the truth of the matter.
It's all going to start getting interesting now.
UPDATE: I think they are going to show the guys on the friday night show, not monday...
