from Pollstar News:

I actually heard about this from someone who bought the Foos album and had the problem putting it on his ipod...here's why...
Copy Monopoly.
Two major releases sport antipiracy technology which allows limited copying. That is, unless you own an iPod. Then you're out of luck.

It is important in a festival situation to mark your stuff to tell it apart from other bands... this of course would be The Others...I believe that they may have Mingo's Syndrome...

Sometimes you watch the news and see strikes and "work actions" fouling up thousands of people when they travel. In Europe it's not unusual to see transit strikes or truckers cluttering up borders to get some attention to a disparity or issue. It seems so silly and doesn't effect you. Pepole are sleeping on the floor of airline terminals and living out of vending machines. Yesterday the baggage handlers at London Heathrow staged a wildcat strike to support their buddies in the catering sector and all BA flights in the world came to a screeching halt. LHR looks like a flood refugee center. They say it will be days before it all gets sorted out.

Great.

The crew will be making a tight connection through Heathrow on Tuesday on the way to an Austrian festival so it actually could effect this bunch of well cared for free t-shirted goofs. The good news is that Heathrow is starting to return to normal and it might be ok by then.

Richard Quest from CNN International makes it all seem like something between an American Idol dispute and a church collapse... great journalism always keeps things in perspective. Perhaps he'll have to walk back into London in his pointy shoes...

All this and the world had to miss out on the fine foods of Gate Gourmet...
