Today was a day abbreviated by schedule (12pm load in), the oppressive humidity and a wonderful visit from Dave Slusher from the Evil Genius Chronicles, as this is his part of the world. As one of the first podcasters I ever heard and the guy who finally unlocked the mystery of the final steps in completing my first 'cast of my own, I'm truly indebted to him. As you can imagine, a motor mouthed podcaster like myself would have plenty to discuss with him. We checked out soundcheck and a littke HOB-style catering dinner and blabbed until I had to get ready for the show.
He is an intelligent and very nice man: it was great for him to spend time with me even with my wacked job and schedule. It goes back to my post a while back about the gifts of podcasting in which I said that it's so amazing to meet these people you think you know from listening to their work and find that you do and you don't. Podcasting has been a great gift to me both creatively and socially. More tomorrow from Orlando, one of the scariest places on earth!!!
