from Pollstar:

Well. let's see if they can get people to pay for concerts when they're not there... the fear has always been that eventually the band would stay put and you'd just stick your debit card in your cable box and sit on your couch with your pants off and rock out. Great, we're that much closer to having to never travel again... hemlock please!

                           The image [base

Road people,

look at this picture in which my dear friend Kevin Glendenning points to the lighting departments placement of the smoke machine for this evening's show. Even if the fan is pointed up, the friggin' nozzle of the hazer is less than 4 feet from my workbox pointed directly at me. And the beauty of the internet is before I've taken the time to speak to the lighting crew chief or our production manager, I've posted the photo on the internet! Rather than be an adult and voice my concern, I've dragged this into the court of public opinion! I am SO not grown up about this! Please share your photos or idiotic cable runs with us here...

from Doc Searls:

The war on war- Doc points to a really thought prevoking piece from Britt Blaser that should be read completely and slowly. I'm glad that there some people thinking about our situation in ways that are less reactionary and narrow. Thanks doc, thanks Britt...
