As all of the blogs and news channels are covering the attacks in
London, I want to put my thoughts and prayers out to the victims and
their families. Also a sharing of feeling and support for those who
were not directly attacked in London; I was in NYC in September 2001,
loading into the Apollo Theatre and even though I was 10 miles from
Ground Zero, it was a very
emotional experience.
What's the Bitterman angle? The first thing I did was check Pollstar News
to see which of my touring brothers and sisters might be there on a job or passing through.
As reported by Pollstar the bombings forced concert schedule changes.
"Concerts in London are being canceled or rescheduled as the city recovers from a terrorist attack."
Sum 41 and The Prodigy cancelled this evening's shows; Queen and REM
postponed their weekend shows until next week. So to my pals with REM
(Leff, Andy, Bob, Dewitt) I hope you're all safe and sound. We're
thinking of you.
