We arrived late yesterday afternoon here in Dublin, a
beautiful sunny day which was a bank holiday Monday. This meant that
Dubliners were out in droves and the stores I wanted to visit were
already closed. Oh well. I did an interview with Michael Butler over Skype which hopefully will be aired as a Rock And Roll Geek Show
podcast sometime in the near future. Takling with Michael is always a
treat; I caught him up on the tour and the goings on over here. Then I
joined the rest if the crew for a dreadfully prepaired meal in an
acoustically challenged room full of drunken loud mouthed women
who all spoke at the same time. Bed was a welcome home.
We play at Vicar Street this evening and then have
an EARLY morning flight to Paris for a show tomorrow. I'm gonna get out
of here right now as we still have an hour and a half before we have to
go to work; Dublin has so much to offer, even on a quiet Tuesday
morning.
