Straight into New York after last night's show in
Philly; there's someting special about sleeping on 53rd St. Tonight was
show #1 of two at Roseland, the old ballroom that still stands, has
events and smells like 1943. Last night saw the band refocus and pound
out a strong show and today seemed to be a continuation. New York does
strange things to musicians, nerves frazzle and the mind often runs.
Along with LA, London and whatever the band's hometown may be, New York
has big guest lists, celebs, peers, executives and crazy people for
every act.
Oh and now Bobby has to play shaker too...
Back to sleep, tomorrow will be another longish day...
