We here at Bitterman Circle are great fans of Mike the Headless Chicken, so to hear of another poultry anomaly in Colorado brings a smirk to our face...

Man Saves Chicken With Mouth-to-Beak.

Perhaps we'll carry enough written material to learn what they're up to...
Cory Doctorow and Boing Boing report on a rumor that the TSA may be restricting something else from being on domestic flights: imposing a 2-book max.

Would that be hardcovers, paperbacks or both?

Link

update: uh, rumor was the operative word....turns out it was a confusion between book and matchbook...take the above link to get the details...gotta love the blogs baby... maybe I shouldn't do this...I'm willing to say I'm sorry....I am!

Hey... It's been a heavy few days. I last posted a few hours before I flew to LA to start the tour and between the time I did and that flight, my whole life changed. Family tragedies usually do that. I'm not posting any info until all of the involved family members have been notified as that's the only way to handle it. It's been really hard not posting, as it has become such a good way for me to transfer energy out of my head and into the world.
I must thank my employers, co-workers, friends, road dogs and podcasting folks for all the amazing support and love they have shared with me and my family in our time of need. I've known for years how strong the bond of the road world is but now I'm seeing the same thing with podcasters... a good sign. I promise to catch you up once everyone who needs to know before it goes out on the wire...
Day one of rehearsal was smooth, quiet and very productive. The new stuff sounds like it will work really well live. It's great to see the guys again and feel at home.
