Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing Steve Gadd during a drum clinic tour in Richardson, TX. Zildjian has him out on a rare two week tour that began in Texas, heads for Memphis today and nine other stops before his schedule closes in on the James Taylor tour. Some of North Texas' finest drummers were there to hear Steve play and talk about his career.

If you have the interest and are in  Memphis, Nashville, Kansas City, MO
(it will be his birthday on Saturday),St. Louis, Palatine, IL, New Berlin, WI, Lansing, MI
Pittsburgh, Lexington, or Columbus, OH
Check it out.

It's the only clinic tour he's done in 20 years and may be your last chance to ask him a question in this kind of forum.

My thanks to John DeChristopher and Jim McGathey from Zildjian and Joe Testa from Yamaha for making such a great event; of course thanks to Steve for being an innovator, a great guy to work for and a good friend.
