The current Court Case
going on in DC could very well effect our business, our computers, our
TVs and our MP3 players. I've had a change in how I feel about
copyright and have had some very passionate conversations with folks
who feed their families with the checks they still get from their
creations. These are not the millionares on the hill but working
musicians who are still out there pushing, playing and performing.
I know I can't even count on the person in front of
me to use their turn signal, let alone have some clue as to how their
use of these newer technologies could effect someone they never met.
The music biz has been playing the court game with file sharing for a
while, but now the movie and TV branch is involved, with the increase
in bandwidth and the ability to move large video files.
This could effect not only the companies we end up working for but the end users as well.
Pay attention.
