...the podcast/ASCAP debate continues
I'd love to play anything from my itunes
library during my podcast. The problem is that there are regulations
preventing me from playing some (ok, most) of my collection without
paying a license fee yearly...even if I don't make a penny off my
podcast. Even if it gets listeners to go out and buy the artists music.
Blogger/ podcaster Wil Wheaton (of Star Trek and Stand By Me fame)
has voiced his opinion about the ASCAP debate and it raises some good points... thanks to Boing Boing , Xeni Jardin, Joe Gratz Peter Kirn, and Matt May for participating in the conversation.
